  • Circular: Dear Parents/Students,           Syrian Ministry of Education and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have agreed and signed a protocol for attestation of Cambridge Certificates to facilitate PISOD students to take admission in Syrian Universities. This new process will also reduce the cost and time which were involved to get attestation from Cambridge, UK.
    1. Ministry of Education will also issue Equivalence Certificate on the basis of the above attested certificates. All universities and institutions in Syria are bound to accept this attestation for admission purposes.
    2. Accordingly, those who are interested in the said attestation, which is necessary for “Equivalence Certificate” to obtain university admission in Syria, can approach Mr. Allam Khoudr, Cambridge Coordinator at PISOD. 
     
  • Disciplinary Notice: Mobiles are not allowed in school & those who bring mobiles, can be confiscated & sent to administration,. It is to further inform you that any type of electronic gadgets like Ipods, smart watches, etc will also not be allowed & confiscated.

Welcome to Pakistan International School of Damascus - PISOD

PISOD Affiliation with Cambridge

The school’s affiliation with Cambridge University dates back to the early 1990s, when PISOD registered with Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), which resulted inthe school offeringthe Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A-level qualifications. In line with CIE, the school runs two Cambridge examination sessions a year, in May/June and October/November.

Two Cambridge examination sessions were later added, namely the primary Checkpoint test (for Grade 5) and the secondary Checkpoint test(for Grade 8). At the end of each exam series, candidates are awarded their respective certificates by Cambridge.
